我第一次看The Killers的现场视频不是在Youtube上，而是在《橘郡》第二季里，对我而言那绝对是个惊喜，剧中的少男少女们相约到Club里看演出，而舞台上的The Killers便演了那首《Smile Like You Mean It》，如今《橘郡》拍到了第四季，女主角已香消玉陨，再次响起这首歌也是选了由Tally Hall翻唱的版本。
Tally Hall来自美国密西根，五位成员分别用红、黄、蓝、绿、银这些颜色当作自己的标志，2004年他们自资制作过一张被命名为Complete Demos的唱片，2005年在Quack!旗下正式推出了他们的首张专辑《Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum》。当然，他们的那首Good Day也正是借助热播剧《橘郡》广为人知。
Tally Hall翻唱的版本与The Killers的感觉十分不同，尽管我还是更喜欢原版的那种大开大阂的率真，但Tally Hall的的清新版本也同样令人赏心悦目。如果你看过《橘郡》，会明白我感受到的时过境迁的哀伤。
