在Coldplay一夜红透全球的时候，我并没能成功地喜欢上他们。日后回首去揣测当时的心情，或许是他们窜红的太快，会让我没来由的抗拒，尤其随着他们的名气越来越大，越来越多的中国人拿他们做为衡量所谓“英式”的标杆，我便更加产生逆反之意。因此尽管我会喜欢他们的某些作品，却始终找不到让他们的音乐进入我心灵的渠道。
时间有时候会慢慢瓦解最初的心理屏障，只是Coldplay在我这里至今仍是“三首不过岗”的状态，也就是说我无法连续听完三首他们的作品，这有点象我对Cranberries的感觉。我会被他们某首作品打动，但是过于甜腻的嗓音让我无法从头至尾地听完他们的专辑。
当然，第二个单曲时代的到来，让很多人都不觉得这有什么新鲜的，可能如今已经有太多的人只满足于听听作品的高潮段落，对于专辑的概念已模糊了。而如Coldplay这般细腻而华丽的团体，我真不知道若是去听一张精选集，一大堆热门作品扑面而来的话，我是否会直接晕过去。
不过，还是喜欢这首Fix You，喜欢温润醇厚的诉说之后那迸发的泛滥激情。
