Placebo今年9月要来北京演出的消息，对所有中国摇滚乐迷来说都是令人感到兴奋。此前与我们合作邀请Club 8来京演出的香港朋友Cap10曾经举办过Placebo在港的演唱会，也跟我提及是否有兴趣承办北京演出。尽管我非常喜欢Placebo的音乐，但是邀请这个级别的乐队来北京演出，我仍无十分的把握。后来也有消息说他们要来，未果。终于日前在他们的官方网站确认，今年回来参加9月份的朝阳流行音乐节。
Placebo今年刚发表了新专辑Meds，听后其实并无太多惊喜。可能是他们过去的四张专辑都太出色吧，这张力量有余而悦耳不足，音乐上又无太多新的尝试。无论如何，Placebo都是一个能在趣怪躁动的音乐里喷涌流畅旋律的乐队，我个人最喜欢他们第二张专辑Without You I’m Nothing，主唱/吉他手Brian Molko的阴阳怪气的嗓音足以令人过耳不忘，他那乖张的个性与双性造型更是特例独行。
今天选一首Without You I’m Nothing中的慢板作品The Crawl播放，尽管这张专辑里我最喜欢的作品其实是You Don’t Care About Us。在The Crawl中，鼓刷构建的松弛的节奏，吉他、贝司以及人声都是喃喃自语般，凄美绝伦。

同样最喜欢第二张专辑，同样最喜欢you dont care about us，喜欢那有着如同cure的inbetween days般抢耳的开场。
只是奇怪不但朝阳公园没演这首，在placebo其他的演出list里也很难找到这首you dont care about us，不知这么爽劲的歌为何总不演呢？
妖媚啊~很喜欢的风格。
