Duran Duran的鼎盛时期是在80年代，提到新浪潮/新浪漫的话就必会说起他们，华丽甚至是美艳的外表，绝对是那个时期全球乐坛最瞩目的英国团体。不过我推荐的这首歌却是2000年他们以三人阵容推出的Pop Trash中的Someone Else Not Me，没有得意洋洋时期的张狂，也没有后来重整五人阵容出片的野心，有一点点落寞贵族的无病呻吟，但依旧很美。现在回顾他们80年代的MV会有点好笑，当初他们太时髦了，反倒是他们比较沉寂的那个时期，才能看到他们脱去华丽外衣的本来面貌，因此那血骨里的贵族气质仍能够令他们在垃圾流行的时代洁身自好。
